Our story
You deserve equipment designed to keep up with your active lifestyle.
After countless trials with a variety of athletic tapes, we create a specialized design to fit our lifestyle. As two active guys from the University of Connecticut, we needed something to help protect our hands across a number of sports and activities.
Initially build for weightlifting, we quickly found these grips could be beneficial when fishing, golfing, tennis and more, to not only protect our hands from cuts or blisters, but also provide additional grip to outperform competitors.
As a UCONN grad, and having run the sales organization of multiple startups, Steve is running the sales strategy and execution of Shadowz. His decade of sales experience across a number of industries enables a deeper understanding of customer needs.

At merely 2 years old, Donut has blasted into his career taking over the CFO role. Chief Food, Fitness, and Financial Officer. Under his strategic oversight, many of our expenses have been snack-related, but this initiative has led to an unprecedented morale boost.
